Kaamfu’s Task Management revolves around two key panels:

  • Time Panel → track shifts (start, pause, end).
  • Work Panel → Items Sub-panel → track tasks, including starting, pausing, and completing tasks.

The Workstation Connect (WSC) app mirrors the web application, allowing seamless tracking across devices.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions #

Starting Your Shift #
From the Web Application: #
  1. Login to your Kaamfu account.
  2. Navigate to the Time Panel at the top.
  3. Click Start on the Shift Panel.

From Workstation Connect: #
  1. Open the Kaamfu Workstation Connect application.
  2. Select Kaamfu and agree to the terms and conditions.
  3. Click Yes, Proceed → Shift Resume.

Starting and Pausing a Task #
Starting a Task: #
  1. Locate your task in the Items sub-panel.
  2. Click the task.
  3. Click the Start icon.
  4. The task status turns green to indicate ongoing progress.

Pausing a Task: #
  1. Go to the green Task button (ongoing task).
  2. Click the Pause button.
  3. The task turns grey.
  4. You can resume it later or start another task.

💡 Tip: You can also pause tasks from the Work Panel by hovering over the item and clicking the small pause icon, or use Locate in the Activity Panel floating menu.

 

Pausing Your Shift #
From the Web Application: #
  1. Navigate to the Time Panel.
  2. Click the Pause icon on the Shift button.
  3. Confirm by clicking Yes.

  1. Open the WSC app.
  2. Click Shift Pause.
  3. Options:
    • I will be back in → select duration → Pause Shift. GIF
    • I won’t be shifting back in today → End Shift. GIF

⚠️ Warning: Don’t forget to end or pause your shift before logging out. Unattended shifts may affect your attendance record.

 

Ending Your Shift #
From the Web Application: #
  1. Click the Stop icon on the Shift button.
  2. Confirm by clicking Yes, Pause for any ongoing tasks.
From Workstation Connect: #
  1. Open the WSC app.
  2. Click Shift Out.
  3. Any ongoing tasks will be paused automatically.GIF
