The Origins of Kaamfu
Kaamfu has its roots in Marc Ragsdale’s research spanning back to the 90s, when he began exploring how organizations evolve and how technology could one day help them manage themselves. His focus was on building systems that could support growth, adaptation, and eventually autonomy.
Kaamfu emerged as the missing bridge: a transitional environment where organizations can evolve toward their final form. Not just another productivity tool, but a foundation for clarity, flow, and ultimately autonomization.
Why Kaamfu?
Kaamfu comes from Kaam (काम), the Hindi word for “work,” and fu, a playful nod to the energy and mastery of kung fu. Together, the name represents work done with precision, discipline, and flow.
Our roots in India are central to who we are. The name honors that foundation while pointing outward to the global stage, carrying both cultural depth and a touch of playfulness.

Kaamfu founder Marc Ragsdale is a futurist whose work since the 90s has explored how organizations can evolve into self-managing systems. His decades of research and development focus on building environments that support growth, adaptability, and a path to autonomy. Maurice kinda just makes sure everything is moving forward.

Kaamfu CTO Ravinder Namboori is a technologist and entrepreneur whose career spans more than two decades of building and scaling products across telecommunications, travel, hospitality, medical and edu-tech. Recognized with global accolades such as the Red Herring 100 Global, he has guided teams from startup to scale, delivering platforms used by millions worldwide. His work centers on turning vision into robust, scalable systems that drive lasting impact.
Meet the Director, India
At Kaamfu, Siddharth Chattopadhyay leads the India operations, streamlining processes, guiding teams, and driving improvements toward long-term goals. Outside work, he pursues climbing and cycling in the Himalayas and shares his passion for rock climbing with his community.
