Download & Installation

During signup, Windows users must download and install the Kaamfu Workstation Connect application, as a part of the Getting Started process.

Login & Permissions: Users need to log in and accept the terms and conditions, which outline the data collected and tracked.

  • Access Web Screenshots: View captured screenshots in the Team Panel of the Kaamfu web application.
  • View Local Screenshots: Access temporary local storage for screenshots captured during the workday.
  • Export Work Logs: Download a detailed activity log in spreadsheet format for review.

For Other Operating Systems #

We are currently working on rolling out the desktop application for other OSs like Mac and Linux.

    Employees are required to shift in and out of the desktop application at the start and end of each workday.

    • Screenshots of the active desktop.
    • Keyboard activity.
  4. Screen Captures:
    Screenshots are taken at regular intervals of 3 minutes during active work hours. These screenshots:

    • Are accessible to both the user and organization admins via the Kaamfu web application.
    • Are stored temporarily on the user’s system and automatically cleared at the end of each workday.
  5. Reporting and Insights:
    The captured data is compiled into detailed logs that admins and managers can review. This includes visual screenshots, keystroke counts, and activity metrics to assess performance.
