The Topics tab can be accessed from the Directory in Kaamfu.
This tab lists all workspace Topics, displaying each with an avatar, name, and an options icon.
Once created, Topics cannot be deleted, but their names and avatars can be edited when needed.
Step-by-Step Instructions #
Follow these steps to edit Topic details in the Directory.
Step 1: Open the Directory #
From the left navigation panel, click Directory.
The Directory is your central hub for viewing and managing workspace entities like Groups and Topics.
Step 2: Access the Topics Tab #
Inside the Directory, open the Topics tab.
Here you’ll see a list of all Topics, each with its avatar and name. When you hover over a Topic, you’ll see checkboxes and an options icon appear.
Step 3: Rename a Topic #
Click the Options icon beside the Topic you want to rename.
Select Edit name from the dropdown.
The Topic’s name becomes editable—type in the new name and press Enter or click outside the field to save.
Only the Topic creator can rename a Topic.

Click the Options icon beside the Topic and choose Edit avatar.
Select or upload a new image that best represents the Topic.
Once selected, the avatar updates immediately for all members.

Changes are applied instantly and visible to everyone in the workspace.
